This article explains a clear order for comparing specification-table fields and avoids conclusions based on a single parameter. AFR250 silver-plated high-temperature wire uses a stranded silver-plated copper conductor with PTFE film-wrapped insulation. Public product information identifies an operating temperature range of -60°C to +250°C. This construction information supports initial product understanding and selection discussions; it does not replace the electrical design for a particular item of equipment or project. The currently published common range covers 15 sizes from 0.035 to 2.5 mm². Conductor area, conductor construction, finished diameter, rated current, maximum current, DC resistance and rated voltage should be reviewed together. These fields relate separately to electrical demand, installation space and construction, so a decision should not be based on one value alone. For published common sizes, the stated voltage rule is 250 V below 0.75 mm² and 600 V at 0.75 mm² and above. This rule applies only to confirmed common sizes. Requirements such as 3, 4, 5 or 6 mm² should be discussed against actual parameters and should not be inferred from the common range. For an actual project, confirm operating temperature, rated voltage, current demand and installation space first, then compare conductor area and finished diameter. Colour, length, packaging and related construction requirements can also be stated during the enquiry stage. Final specifications should be confirmed against the actual equipment, environment and project requirements.
